Domenico Palomba is a Vice President of Professional Services for Amphora GmbH, a software solutions provider that specializes in commodity trading, logistics and risk management for the oil and energy industries. Covering the needs of global oil, refined, coal, ore, gas, power, metals, concentrates, agriculture and the freight marketplace since 1997, the firm employs 100 people around the world, all of whom have direct hands-on experience with commodity trading systems.
 
With over 15 years of experience in the IT field, Domenico provides his clients with value added advisory services, highly appreciated deliverables and top quality software solutions. A with a comprehensive grasp of the big picture on the world market, he is well known for his tenacity and ability to be culturally sensitive.
 
After earning a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Naples ‘Federico II’, Domenico went on to work for some of the most prestigious companies in the IT sector. Prior to joining Amphora as a Project Manager in 2010, he gained valuable experience both as an Executive and as a Counselor Advisor. He is a licensed IPMA Level B LEVEL B – Senior Project Manager and is ITIL Certified.
 
Domenico resides in Zurich, Switzerland, and speaks German, Italian, English and a working proficiency of Spanish. When not working, he enjoys scuba diving and reading scientific literature.
