Tamara J. Buntgen is the Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, a global travel management company specializing in facilitating the logistics required to make the execution of business travel and meetings and events smooth and successful. With more than 20 years of experience in her role, she provides expert legal advice to her team on matters ranging in markets across both North and South America. She is also responsible for contract negotiation, frequently engaging with Fortune 500 companies, and oversees all legal activities within the company for the Americas.
 
A member of the Bar in Nebraska and Minnesota, Tamara entered her niche of the legal professional naturally, through a lifelong desire to be a lawyer and grown professionally. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Benedictine College.
 
Innovative and highly effective at developing creative solutions, Tamara has strategic and tactical expertise, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. She credits her success to her commitment to honesty and ethics, and her passion for her job.
 
Tamara resides in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, where she volunteers for 2n d Harvest and donates to charities. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and sports, and is an avid reader.
