The International Society of Business Leaders Recognizes Yngvar Tronstad

 
Yngvar Tronstad is the Chief Scientist and Technology Founder of Cogility Software, a software development company that created and markets Cogility Studio®, the most advanced, MDE, Node.js-based Rapid Application Development Tool available. With over 22 years of experience in business process management and complex event processing (CEP), he is an expert in innovation and technology for financial services, cyber security and federal space. Having joined the firm in 2003, he is specialized in object oriented and model driven system engineering architectures of formal enterprise scale models that can be directly executed on J2EE/JDBC and Node.js/MongoDB environments.
 
After earning a BSc in Military Studies from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy, Yngvar went on to complete a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Naval Postgraduate School (NPS). He continued his studies at NPS, where he ultimately received an MSc with Distinction in Acoustical Engineering. Prior to joining Cogility Software, he served as the Chief Scientist and Chief Technology Officer of Ceira Technologies, Inc., providing System Integration solutions to financial services. He also served as Partner and Managing Director of KPMG and BearingPoint, Inc., where he was responsible for the Advanced Technology Group within KPMG’s communication and content practice.
 
A resident of San Jose, California, Yngvar speaks Norwegian, English and German. In addition to his ISoBL membership, he belongs to the IEEE and INCOSE. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys biking, rowing and cooking outside of work.
