Jørn Haugvaldstad is the President & Founder of JH Enterprise. He has been in business for over eight years as Founder and Managing owner of the oil service company, UDS as developing deep water remote tooling. He is highly experienced in Project Management, including both Onshore Projecting and Offshore Operations, Marine and Heavy Lift operations, Umbilical installations IMR, Modifications, Installations and Decommissioning. He oversees project management of early phase oil field developments (DG1 to DG4) with floating productions and fixed platforms. He also participates in partner license technical committees. He has global experience in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, China, Indonesia, Singapore and Mexico.
He started his professional career at a young age, deciding to take to the Sea immediately after high school. Jørn realized that education was needed to advance within his field, and he returned to school to pursue a life long journey in education. He holds a Masters of Science Degree in Global Business Management from The University of Salford, a certified Project Manager in Oil & Gas Development through the BI Norwegian Business School. He studied in Business Management Private Sector with a focus on Personal Awareness & Self Improvement with the University of Oslo. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Studies from Haugesund Maritime University, and a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stavanger Tekiske Fagskole. He is a certified Mechanic through the Stavanger Maritime School. He has thirty years experience within his niche field, and twelve years specialized in developing deepwater remote tooling. He has the latest 6 years expanded his remote operations skills to Oil field developments remotely controlled wellhead platforms.
Jørn has worked Internationally with extensive experience in the United Kingdom, United States, Netherlands, Mexico, Singapore, Indonesia and China. He has managed topside modification projects including module construction delivery to numerous companies including: Statoil, ConocoPhillips, Talisman, Saga Petroleum and Elf Aquitaine Norge. Jørn has made major contributions within his field and plans to continue to expand and increase business generation.
In his spare time, he enjoys motorsports, racing, and keeping abreast of the latest trends in oil & gas technology. He resides in Mosterøy, Norway.
