The International Society of Business Leaders Recognizes Member of the Year, Carl Patois

Offering over 28 years of experience in his career, Carl Patois was the Managing Director of Butachimie until lately where he was responsible for business operations, strategic development, purchasing, human resources and safety. To this role, Carl would bring expertise in chemistry, cash management and supply chain management.

Butachimie was renewed for 99 years in 2014 to be run as independently as possible to protect INVISTA and Solvay’s valuable technologies that it operates. Carl led the company to that endeavor. During that time he and his supportive teams navigated abiding updated governance rules, implementing strong IP protection processes, and creating an HR environment for 300 employees transferred from Solvay payroll to the Butachimie payroll.

Carl holds his Doctoral Degree in Chemistry from Ecole Polytechnique, and is a member of the Ecole Polytechnique Alumni Association. Moving forward, he plans to expand his career in strategy and hopes to network with likeminded professionals worldwide.

In his spare time, Carl enjoys travel, reading and playing bridge.
