A highly esteemed academic and educator, Joan McQuillan is currently a Visiting Professor in Education at Illinois College. Illinois College is a small residential liberal arts college offering exceptional education at an affordable cost on a safe and beautiful campus. For over 180 years, Illinois College has prepared young men and women for lives of leadership and service. Joan’s research interests include Education, Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning, Life History, Sociocultural Literacy Studies, Teacher Education and Ethics in Pre-service Education. Joan holds a Master of Education Leadership Degree.
