Phyllis Feder has been Vice President of Kaufman Music Center since 2008, Vice President of the Board of Trustees since 1989, and Chair of the Lucy Moses School Advisory Board. Kaufman Music Center is an Arts Education and Performing Arts school that accepts students ages 2 through 92, regardless of competency level. Phyllis veered off from her original career path because of how passionate she is about music and the power that it holds, transcending all cultural boundaries. She is also fluent in French, with a basic knowledge of Spanish and Russian. In her spare time, she volunteers at a local homeless shelter, setting up beds and preparing meals for those in need who are trying to better themselves. In the next five years, she hopes to establish a foundation assisting those students who cannot afford to go to college. She is also a health and fitness buff.
