Brenda is a distinguished professional dedicated to the service of others and enriching communities. She has over 20 year of experience within the Non Profit industry. She currently sits as Executive Director of two Boards, for organizations such as “Shooting The West” and “Fred & Mary Taulbee Charitable Foundation. Brenda is a pillar in the Nevada Community, who firmly believes in impacting others for greater change. The Fred and Mary Taulbee Charitable Foundation is a 501c3 Private Operating Foundation founded in November of 2012. Fred Taulbee was the middle child of 5 brother and sisters. He was born and raised in Campton, Kentucky. Mary was born and raised in Muncie Indiana and the youngest of five siblings. The two married in January of 1957, left Kentucky in an old convertible, and headed out to California where they made their dreams come true. FMTCF functions as a bridge organization for orphaned and abandoned children between the ages of 17-24 and offers financial assistance, mentoring, and life skills training to ensure success in their pursuit of higher education and career paths. As part of our pay it forward model we in turn ask that successful beneficiaries of our program offer internship and mentoring opportunities to others. Due to circumstances in their own childhoods both Fred and Mary had a love for and desire to help orphaned and abandoned children, and when Mary was taken from us by cancer in 2012 she established the Foundation as a part of her Trust. When she died, Mary was far from done giving to others and helping those in need. She ensured her philanthropic desires would live on through her Foundation.
