Darryl has almost 50 years of expertise in a variety of fields, including computer science, philosophy, and politics. After completing his master’s in Philosophy at the University of Waikato, he became a professor at the university and founded their computer society. Possessing a unique vision, he has always believed that there is a strong link between philosophy and computers.

Outside of the university, Darryl works with many organizations, including the Waikato Regional Councils and the Synod Diocese of Waikato. In 1988, he entered into a partnership with his wife (to whom he has been married almost 50 years), where he does consulting work pro bono. He also works with the government, writing legislative matters for parliament. Darryl’s current focus is the mining industry. In addition to his master’s, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Western Australia.
