Joo Won Chon currently works as an in-home care provider, aiding in the education for gifted and talented children. Prior to Joo Won’s, current position, she was a teacher under the New York City Department of Education. Joo Won has acquired her New York State Teacher License specializing in the Gifted Education Extension category. In addition to the license, she has received the State of New York Public School Teacher Certificate for Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and grades one through six. Joo Won attributes her success to being a team player and her positive interaction with students, their parents, and her colleagues.
