Mauri Fortes previously held titles including President of University enter UNA; Full Professor (Head and coordinator of graduate programs) of mechanical engineering from UFMG, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Physics UFV, Full Professor at UNI-BH and Fundação Visconde de Cairu, guest visiting professor at Purdue University, INSA-Lyon,and Université Paul Sabatier – Toulouse III. Maui is the Scientific Director of Ecolatina, the most relevant Latin American event on sustainability. He also serves as a consultant to numerous national and international companies (CEMIG, USIMINAS, Vale do Rio Doce, Belgo-Bekaert, among others). Mauri has published more than 140 articles on engineering and exact sciences and 160 articles on social sciences and humanities.
