Saverio Barbera is Associate Vice President at Capgemini. He has been in management consulting for more than 20 years in addition to his industry management roles as a trusted strategic advisor and has done public speaking with regard to supplier information management. Saverio was inspired to go into the consulting profession after reading Lee Iacocca’s autobiography, even though his parents wanted him to become a mechanical engineer. He attributes his success to being humble, exercising common sense, observing, and always wanting to learn. His favorite scripture is James 1:19 “quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger.” Saverio volunteers his resources to the charity Compassion International and to the Refuge Church. His future goals are to continue to sharpen his professional tools, continue to better himself, and to run one a global consulting practice. When not working he enjoys family time, and golf.
