Ammar Sinan is the Chairman and CEO of KANZ Limited, a consultancy that offers comprehensive management and strategic advisory services into market development.
As a successful entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience, Ammar is a seasoned leader with expertise in business management, consulting and business strategy. He advises on market intelligence, strategies, market development and expansion, branding and strategic advisory and has been influential not just in the development of KANZ’s clients, but in KANZ itself.
In addition, for the past decade, he has served as Chairman of Integrated Technologies Limited, which focuses on Telecommunications and GPS Tracking Systems. Since 1997, he has also served as Managing Director of SINANCO, a medical equipment and healthcare supplies and distribution company.
He is also the Chief editor of the Levant Research Institute a Canada base research center for political, economical and social research specializing in the “ Levant Region”
Ammar graduated with a Chartered Engineering degree from Damascus University in Syria in 1989 and continued his studies in the city of Oxford. He has also taken several finance, sales, marketing and Telecommunications courses and speaks fluent English, French and Arabic. Prior to branching out as an entrepreneur. Ammar worked in Telecommunications, defense technology and medical equipment, eventually diversifying his interests into consulting services for Multi-National companies, finding an opportunity in such detailed and comprehensive services, taking corporate and business from traditional trade into an entrepreneurial spirit.
Ammar thrives on understanding local cultures and having the right entrepreneurial approaches to effectively do business in diverse environments. The unique aspect of KANZ is their ability to thrive in high-risk, highly volatile territories, where information is limited and cultural barriers are present. A notable client has included Lindt, Philips Medical Systems, CNPCI, BAE Systems, Viasys, Fisher and Paykel, Sinn Watches, Space Labs, New Port, Anios, Visconti, McDonnell Douglas and many other companies , whom Ammar was able to successfully introduce and embed into the area’s regional market.
A resident of London, United Kingdom, Ammar is also the Founder and sole owner of the Levant Research Institute. Outside of his professional endeavors Ammar enjoys the gym, squash and swimming.
