The International Society of Business Leaders Recognizes Arno Storm
In November 2015, Arno Storm became the Chief Operations Officer for APM Terminals in Bahrain, less than 3 years upon joining the company as Execution Manager of Operations. An expert in operations and supply chain logistics, Arno has over a decade of experience in management and has produced lasting results in organization and processes. Responsible for all operational, IT and technical asset management of the company, Arno ensures that APM Terminals Bahrain can design, build and operates the port and terminal facilities with maximum efficiency and optimized results.
After completing a bachelor’s degree in Management and International Logistics from Netherlands Defense College and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Arno went on to complete a Master of Management and Organization from TIAS School of Business. He served in the Royal Netherlands Army for years, from Mechanized Infantry to becoming a Staff Officer and later Military Assistant to the Director Operations of the Directorate Operations of NLD Defense Staff.
In 2010 Arno published an article titled, “The Importance of Influence Operation: Focusing on a Behavioral Approach of Military Operations” in the Battle for the Information Domain IO Journal.
Key to his success has been Arno’s appreciation for people and the ability to pinpoint their abilities in order to build successful teams. A native of the Netherlands, Arno relocated to Bahrain for his opportunity at APM Terminals. He speaks English, Dutch and a working level of German.
