The International Society of Business Leaders Recognizes Chris Drew

 
Chris Drew has more than 40 years of professional experience in his career, with 40 years of experience in educational management both in the UK and internationally, and senior management for 20 years. Chris was also the Head Teacher of a large international school in Nairobi, Kenya, before returning to the UK in 2010 to take up a post at CTC. Currently, Chris is operating as Trustee with Cambridge Tutors Educational Trust (CTC), where his main role is to cover the day-to-day management of the institution, financials, health and safety. Chris was prompted to get involved in this profession by way of natural progression and passion.
 
He is currently enjoying the day-to-day challenges of being the Principal of  a thriving Croydon college-preparing students for university, as well as balancing the different interests of all the stakeholders in the college, the students, teachers and parents.  They all have their own particular needs and these do some times clash.  He has always worked by the adage- the student’s welfare is paramount, and has found that generally following this rule ensures that management decisions are the right ones.
 
As part of the development of his educational management skills, he studied for an MA at Bath University in Education and in addition gained a Doctorate from Bath in Educational Management. He is also a founding member of the Chartered College of Teachers. CTC is an inclusive community, welcoming students from all over the world and from every background. CTC has the strongest commitment to maximising the personal development and welfare of each and every individual.  They expect their students to work hard, to enjoy their studies and to participate fully in the College’s diverse enrichment programs.
 
In the next few years, Chris plans to continue to grow, continue to develop, and continue to make a difference in his field. Networking and connecting with other likeminded professionals is key, sharing ideas and areas of expertise. Chris bases his success on his passion. He is proud of how far he has grown in his career, and all the people and students he has helped along the way.
