Gene Lance is the Owner of S&G Concessions, a food service and catering company that specializes in employee parties and other large celebrations, and serves lunch on a daily basis to walk-up traffic. With over 40 years of professional experience, Gene is an expert in sales and management, and offers his clients a truly comprehensive dining or catering experience from planning through event execution.
Offering hotdogs and sandwiches, along with homemade soup, beverage, chips and desserts from a portable location, S&G Concessions is a regular feature 4 days per week at Oil Masters in Ellenton, Florida.
In addition to managing his food truck business, Gene also co-manages a Dairy Queen and a Subway store as a Compliance Manager. Having launched the enterprise with his brother, their locations cater to families and offer that personalized, family-run touch that so often is missing from traditional franchise location experiences.
Gene specializes in training, team building, strategic planning, new business development, contract negotiation, customer service, and entrepreneurship. He speaks English and Spanish. Prior to opening his company, he spent 20 years in Ohio working for TWR Valve Division. He is a Mason, Past Master, Past High Priest, Past Illustrious Master, Past DDGM in the Council, and currently serves the DDGM on the committee. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Lakeland Community College.
