Dr. Giovanni Cavaccini formed the company DARES. DARES is a new, small, flexible company. Born with the vocation of the innovation and to offer quick, client tailored, high quality consulting and support at competitive prices. His business operates primarily as a consulting and networking company in the aerospace sector. They are especially strong in all areas in which Nondestructive Testing and special processes have an important role, such as transportation industry and cultural and environmental assets. Giovanni Cavaccini was head of Nondestructive Inspections and Structural Health Monitoring in Design Materials & Processes Dept. at Finmeccanica Aeronautics division for 22 years. He was also sector chief for some years in TÜV SÜD Italy. He has over twenty-five years of experience in concurrent engineering and business development.

Dr. Cavaccini obtained his doctorate from Università degli Studi di Napoli ‘Federico II’. He went on to serve as a Professor of Mathmatics and Physics at Liceo Carducci. He has conducted research at the Italian Institute of Nuclear Physics and the Aerodynamics Institute of the University of Naples, and is a published author, with work appearing in numerous peer reviewed journals.

Dr. Cavaccini resides In Italy, and enjoys traveling and reading in his spare time.
