Juan Manuel Benavent is the Global Talent Enablement Partner at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, an American multinational information technology enterprise company founded as part of the now-split Hewlett-Packard company. With over 30 years of experience, Juan Manuel has been a management executive, strategic advisor and consultant to multinational and large national public and private companies in Latin America, specializing in increasing employee engagement and helping individuals, teams and organizations reach their full potential.
 
After earning a BSc in Consumer Economics from the University of Panama, Juan Manuel went on to complete the Executive Development Program in Business Administration and Management at the University of Illinois, and the Restaurant Management Program at Cornell University. Prior to joining HP, Juan Manuel held senior positions as General Manager, Managing Director, Training and Development Director, Sales Manager and Credit Sales Manager with local and multinational corporations in several countries across Central America and the United States. He is a member of the Panama Human Resources Association and the American Society for Training and Development.
 
In addition to his work, Juan Manuel is a frequent public speaker with over three decades of executive coaching and speaking experience. His fusion of real-life stories and conversational techniques connect with his audience at an intimate, intense and individual level.
 
A passionate humanitarian, Juan Manuel frequently donates time and resources to Calicanto and various charities. He currently resides in Panama, where he is fluent in Spanish, English, and Catalan, and enjoys travel, music and reading in his spare time.
