The International Society of Business Leaders Recognizes Marc Rijn
Marc Rijn is the Chief Executive officer of Rijn & Partners, an interim management services company that provides clients with solutions to temporarily supply skilled professionals needed to complete necessary financial and administrative endeavors. Offering assistance and consulting on matters of restructuring, accounting, internal control and accounts receivables, Marc and his associates guide their clients to reduce costs and improve efficiency in a broad range of organizations.
Marc also serves as the Finance Manager of Unit4 Business Software BV, a leading global software company offering enterprise software, ERP applications and related professional services to organizations in professional services, education, public services, not-for-profit, real estate, wholesale and financial sectors. In this role, he works with local and global organizations to transfer knowledge from old legal entities into new and digitized organization. He is also responsible for the accounting (IFRS), controlling, auditing and managing funds, as well as forecasting, budgeting and modeling.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Leergang General Control from Avans Hogeschool Tilburg, Marc quickly established himself as a rising talent in the finance and information technology sector. He worked in Control for Ernst & Young (EY), and as the Assistant controller for Gillette Stationary Benelux. Prior to joining Unit4 Business Software and establishing his own practice, he worked for companies including IBM Business Consulting, ConQuaestor B.V. and Amedia Holding BV.
Marc resides in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and speaks fluent English and Dutch. A pillar of his community and lifelong hockey fan, he spent 2 years as the Chairman of the arbitration commission for theHockey Club Barendrecht, and has spent the past 13 years as the Treasurer of Stichting de Waterdragers.
