With over 30 years of professional experience, Roland Doummar is the Senior Vice President part of the leasdership team at First AbuDhbai Bank where he is responsible for overseeing the management and implementation of IT & Business transformation projects. Roland is known for his unmatched expertise in finance transformation , Analytics , Data governance and data integration. Specializing in Strategy and Mission Planning, Project Management, Merger Acquisition, Core Banking, System Integration, Data Analysis, and Team Leadership to name a few, Roland is able to wear many hats in his industry.
He has been with First AbuDhbai Bank since 2017, and some of his prior experiences include Temenos-Middle Eastern & Overseas, being self-employed, and TSE’s International Investments Ltd.
He is an accomplished professional with robust and progressive experience in a multicultural environment across accomplishing numerous systems integration transformation projects within the Banking Domain. He has extensive experience in merger & integration of the largest 2 banks in the UAE across business planning, financial control, system implementations, data migration, system integration, transformation, banking operations, and project management.
He is an excellent team builder, coach, and communicator, and is a dedicated and trustworthy individual committed to providing best-in-class Business Intelligence & Analytics service to both finance and business streams.
Some of his professional achievements include making a vital contribution in merging and integrating the largest 2 banks in the UAE (FGB & NBAD that become FAB) within 2 years – FAB 2017 to the end of 2018. He has acquired an outstanding track record in the successful implementation of transformation projects in banks with special capabilities in core banking, system integration, data governance, data migration, Oracle BI & DW platform transformation, Cloud solution workforce planning, Big data, and Fusion.
Roland holds his Master’s degree in Accounting from Lebanese University, which he obtained in 2000. Moving forward, he plans on taking his career to the next level and hopes to network with likeminded professionals worldwide as much as possible.
In his spare time, Roland enjoys sports and reading.
