Sergio Ghersini is the Owner and General Manager of Studio Tau, a business consultancy offering services to industry, with a specific attention to regulated sectors.
 
With nearly 40 years of professional experience, Sergio holds a wealth of knowledge and expertise in regulatory sales for broadband services.
 
Having established Studio Tau with his wife – a medical doctor –  the two have used their broad experience and backgrounds to select a team of highly skilled professionals, specializing in both disease and diagnostic medical devices.
 
The team provides technical advice and big-picture consulting services on matters of product and system, applying worldwide recognized standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485., ISO 17025 and alia.
 
They are able to provide comprehensive training courses and know-how transfer, and serve clientele that ranges from public entities to private corporations.
 
After serving in the Air Force, Sergio Ghersini completed a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
 
He began his career teaching Industrial Electronics, then moved to develop electronics for Telettra; after this experience, he joined the Quality Control Dept. of the Automation Research Centre of ENEL (Italian Electricity Board) and then oversaw the Industrial Automation Department at Gavazzi Space.
 
Prior to founding Studio Tau in 2000, Sergio most recently held a number of positions with the Istituto Italiano del Marchio di Qualità, managing Quality systems Certification Department, Customer Technical Assistance and Training Courses Department.
 
Sergio credits his success to achieving technical mastery within his industry, keen networking skills, and continually learning, to gain a clearer sense of the industry on a global scale.
 
He is based in Milan, Italy, and – in addition to Italian – he speaks fluent English and Spanish, with proficiency in French and Russian.
